This Irish Heart Foundation certified course focuses on dealing with very serious, life threatening conditions. Teaching is a combination of instructional videos and practical training. This is a basic CPR course and no previous knowledge is assumed.

Students will learn:

• How to provide CPR to an adult, child or infant who is in cardiac arrest or respiratory arrest.
• How to use an automated external defibrillator (AED) on a cardiac arrest victim.
• How to treat patients of all ages who are choking.

Upon successful completion of this course an Irish Heart foundation/American Heart Association Heartsaver CPR AED certificate will be issued.

Duration: Approximately 2 hours.
